Description

A warm, hearty soup combining tender smoked brisket and creamy potatoes, perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound smoked brisket, chopped
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the diced potatoes and smoked brisket into the pot, stirring for a few minutes.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Use an immersion blender to blend the soup until smooth, or leave it chunky if preferred.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chives.

Notes

Use high-quality smoked brisket for better flavor. Adjust creaminess with milk if desired.
