Ingredients
- Tofu
- Sweet potatoes

Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into thick steaks.
- Mix olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; coat each tofu steak with the mixture.
- Cook the tofu steaks in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Peel and chop sweet potatoes into cubes, boil in salted water until tender (about 15-20 minutes).
- Drain the sweet potatoes, mash with minced garlic, olive oil, and plant-based milk if desired.
- Plate the tofu steaks over the creamy mashed sweet potatoes and garnish with fresh chives or green onions.
Notes
For added flavor, consider spices in the sweet potato mash like cinnamon or nutmeg. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
