Description

A satisfying stir-fry bowl featuring spicy ground beef, fresh veggies, and fluffy rice that combines flavors and textures for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium zucchini, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef, cooking until browned and breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add minced garlic, soy sauce, and chili flakes to the beef, stirring well. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a separate skillet, heat sesame oil and stir-fry broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, and red bell pepper until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Season the stir-fried veggies with soy sauce and minced garlic, tossing to coat.
  5. Assemble the bowls by layering cooked white rice, topped with spicy beef and garlic veggies. Garnish with sesame seeds or chili oil as desired.

Notes

Use lean ground beef for a healthier option and customize the heat levels with chili flakes or jalapeños.
