Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spicy breakfast sausage (browned and drained)
  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese (cut into cubes)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 jalapeño (seeded and diced)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer browned sausage to a slow cooker.
  3. Add Velveeta cheese cubes to the slow cooker.
  4. Stir in sour cream, red onion, jalapeño, salsa, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
