Description
Creamy spinach and ricotta cheese stuffed in pasta shells and topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella.

- 12 large pasta shells
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, chopped spinach, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff the cooked pasta shells with the cheese and spinach mixture.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh spinach for better flavor and texture, and consider adding Italian herbs for extra flavor.
