- 1 lb beef steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz shell pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper, then sear until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta back into the skillet, mixing well with the sauce, then gently fold in the seared steak bites.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For a vegan option, swap steak with grilled mushrooms or tofu and use cashew cream. Adjusting cooking times may be necessary.
