Description

A warm and crispy sandwich filled with melted cheese and perfectly cooked steak, served alongside flavorful garlic bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices Bread
  • 4 ounces Steak
  • 2 slices Cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the steak in a skillet over medium heat to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper, then let it rest before slicing.
  2. Mix the butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Spread this mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the sliced steak and cheese between the unbuttered sides of the bread.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet, cooking until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Use the remaining garlic butter mixture on another slice of bread for garlic bread and toast in the skillet until golden.
  6. Slice and serve the steak grilled cheese with garlic bread on the side.

Notes

Letting the steak rest after cooking allows the juices to redistribute for a tastier bite. Choose quality bread for a better crunch.
