Description
A warm and crispy sandwich filled with melted cheese and perfectly cooked steak, served alongside flavorful garlic bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 slices Bread
- 4 ounces Steak
- 2 slices Cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper To taste
Instructions
- Cook the steak in a skillet over medium heat to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper, then let it rest before slicing.
- Mix the butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Spread this mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the sliced steak and cheese between the unbuttered sides of the bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet, cooking until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Use the remaining garlic butter mixture on another slice of bread for garlic bread and toast in the skillet until golden.
- Slice and serve the steak grilled cheese with garlic bread on the side.
Notes
Letting the steak rest after cooking allows the juices to redistribute for a tastier bite. Choose quality bread for a better crunch.
