Description

A flavorful chicken dish with a crispy Parmesan coating, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat, add the coated chicken, and cook for 4–6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels, garnish with parsley, and serve with sides like mashed potatoes and steamed veggies.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake the coated chicken at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
