Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the strawberry pie filling, softened cream cheese, and granulated sugar; mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the strawberry mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the strawberry layer.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
  6. If desired, sprinkle chopped strawberries on top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with whipped cream, if desired.
