Description
Crispy taco shells filled with velvety strawberry cheesecake filling and topped with a homemade strawberry crunch – a fun, no bake dessert inspired by viral recipes.
Ingredients
• 8 small flour tortillas
• 1 ½ cups cream cheese, softened
• ¾ cup powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup whipped topping or Cool Whip
• ⅓ cup strawberry puree or jam
• 10 Golden Oreos, crushed
• ¼ cup freeze dried strawberries
• 2 tbsp melted butter
• 1 tbsp strawberry gelatin powder (optional)
• ½ cup cinnamon sugar (for coating shells)
• Oil for frying (if using fried method)
Instructions
1. Cut tortillas into small rounds and fry until golden. Coat with cinnamon sugar and let cool.
2. Blend cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and strawberry puree.
3. Fold in whipped topping and chill mixture for 30 minutes.
4. Crush Oreos and freeze dried strawberries. Mix with melted butter and gelatin powder (optional).
5. Pipe cheesecake filling into taco shells.
6. Top with strawberry crunch and press lightly.
7. Optionally garnish with strawberry slices or white chocolate drizzle.
8. Serve immediately or chill for 15 minutes for firmer texture.
Notes
Store components separately if preparing ahead of time.
Assembled tacos are best enjoyed the same day.
To lighten the recipe, swap full fat cream cheese with Greek yogurt based options and bake taco shells instead of frying.
