- 1 ½ cups sushi rice
- 1 cup crab meat (imitation or real)
- ½ cup Kewpie mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 sheets nori (seaweed), cut into strips
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until clear; then cook according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix the crab meat, mayonnaise, soy sauce, and green onions until well combined.
- Layer half of the cooked rice in the baking dish, followed by the crab mixture. Top with the remaining rice, pressing gently.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with nori strips, sesame seeds, and extra green onions before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality crab meat for the best flavor. Don’t skip the nori, as it adds an essential sushi taste.
