- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings completely dry using paper towels and preheat your oven to 425°F (or prep your air fryer to 400°F).
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet or in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or air fry for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, honey, hot sauce, and soy sauce. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Once the wings are crispy, transfer them to a bowl. Pour the sauce over and toss to coat.
- Serve hot with dipping sauces or your favorite sides.
