Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, stirring for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the rinsed rice to the pan, stirring to coat the grains with the butter and spices.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for an additional 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and garnish with parsley if desired.
