- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract after.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are light golden brown.
- Quickly press a spoonful of caramel sauce into the center of each cookie once they are out of the oven.
- Let cookies cool slightly, then sprinkle chocolate chips over them.
- Garnish with sea salt if desired.
- Cool completely before serving.
