Ingredients

- 1 lb Ground beef
- 4 slices Cheese (e.g., cheddar, American)
- 4 slices Bread (e.g., sandwich, burger buns)
- 1 Onion (optional)
- Seasoning (e.g., salt, pepper, garlic powder)
- Butter or oil for toasting
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
- If using onions, add them to the beef and sprinkle in your seasonings, cooking until the onions are soft and translucent.
- Place a slice of cheese on top of the cooked beef and let it melt.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
- On the unbuttered side of a slice, load the beef and melted cheese mixture. Top with another slice of bread, keeping the buttered side out.
- Toast the sandwich in the skillet until both sides are golden brown.
- Once ready, cut the sandwich in half and serve warm.
Notes
For variety, experiment with different cheeses or add jalapeños for a spicy kick.
