- ½ cup packed light brown sugar

- 3 cups chocolate chips (semisweet and dark)
- 14 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and slightly cooled)

Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients: Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Prepare the wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine and fold: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold them together.
- Chill the dough: Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Preheat and prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop and shape: Portion out the dough and shape into thick balls on the baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes.
- Cool and set: Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
