Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

- Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the whole egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.

- Scoop dough onto prepared sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are soft.
