Description

Deliciously soft and fluffy buns filled with aromatic vegan curry, perfect for any meal or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup cooked curry filling (vegan)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening the filling)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and oil. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions.
  5. Flatten each portion and place a spoonful of curry filling in the center. Pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm!

Notes
