Description

Irresistible White Chocolate Maple Cookies that blend rich maple sweetness with creamy white chocolate, perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
  • ¼ cup (60ml) pure maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips or chunks, melted for dipping
  • Optional: chopped pecans, extra white chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy, about 2–3 minutes.
  2. Mix in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 9–11 minutes until the edges are set and the centers are still soft. Let them cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Melt some white chocolate and dip half of each cookie or drizzle it on top. Sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired.

Notes

Chill the dough to enhance flavor and prevent spreading. Store cookies in an airtight container.
