Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients.
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the sheets and bake for 12-14 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
