Description
A quick and delicious beef and broccoli dish that’s ready in just 20 minutes!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pan, add beef broth, and stir well. Cook until the broccoli is tender and the sauce thickens, around 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
Cut the beef against the grain for a more tender bite. Do not overcook the broccoli; it should remain bright green and crunchy.
