Description

A quick and delicious beef and broccoli dish that’s ready in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  6. Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Return the beef to the pan, add beef broth, and stir well. Cook until the broccoli is tender and the sauce thickens, around 2-3 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Cut the beef against the grain for a more tender bite. Do not overcook the broccoli; it should remain bright green and crunchy.
