- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and thinly sliced
- 6 oz thick-cut bacon, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and trim Brussels sprouts; slice them thinly.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until translucent (3-4 mins).
- Stir in sliced Brussels sprouts; cook until bright green with caramelized edges (6-8 mins).
- Fold in fresh sage and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
For a healthier option, substitute bacon with turkey bacon. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
