- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried herbs (such as oregano or parsley)
- Marinara sauce or pesto for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into small squares.
- Place a small amount of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
- Gather the corners of the dough together and pinch to seal, forming cheese balls.
- Arrange the balls in a tree shape on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried herbs.
- Brush the herb-garlic butter over the dough balls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or pesto for dipping.
Notes
Use fresh herbs for a stronger flavor. Make sure to seal the dough tightly to avoid leaks while baking. You can use a cookie cutter to create a fun star shape for the top of your tree!
