Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter with the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop dough onto lined baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Let cool on the tray before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
For thicker cookies, chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes before baking. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
