- 1 cup of cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream or milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In the Crock Pot, combine the diced potatoes, onion, chicken broth, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are tender.
- Add the cream and cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
- Stir in the crumbled bacon.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
Notes
For a creamier soup, use whole milk or heavy cream. Always wash and peel the potatoes before dicing to remove dirt. Feel free to customize with your favorite toppings.
