- 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup French fried onions
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the green beans for about 5 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked green beans to the soup mixture and stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a 1.5-quart casserole dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, stir in half of the French fried onions, and top with the remaining onions.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the green beans for the best texture. Customize with cheese or other vegetables if desired.
