Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (red and green)
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked shrimp or chicken

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the diced bell peppers, carrots, and peas. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice and pineapple.
  5. Pour the soy sauce over the mixture and stir well to combine.
  6. Add optional cooked shrimp or chicken if using.
  7. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your tropical dish!

Notes

Use day-old rice for better texture. Adjust the amount of soy sauce based on your salt preference.
