Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 box (5.1 oz) of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box of vanilla wafers
  • Optional: Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla pudding mix and milk. Whisk until smooth and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully combined.
  4. Slice the bananas and layer them in a serving dish with the vanilla wafers.
  5. Pour a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas and wafers. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
  6. Top with extra whipped cream, if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe bananas for the best flavor. This recipe can be prepared a day ahead for enhanced taste.
