- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Activate the Yeast: Combine warm water, honey, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Make the Dough: Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, melted shortening, sugar, salt, and flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead and Rise: Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled.
- Prepare the Rolls: Roll the dough into a rectangle, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar, roll up, slice into buns, and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Fry the Buns: Heat oil to 350°F, fry buns for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown, and drain on paper towels.
- Glaze and Serve: Whisk together powdered sugar, honey, melted butter, vanilla extract, salt, and warm water. Dip the cooled buns in the glaze before serving.
