A quick and easy Shrimp Scampi Linguine loaded with flavor from garlic, butter, and lemon, perfect for weeknight dinners.

- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
- Pour in the white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Stir well and let simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to combine everything. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if desired.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the shrimp; they should be just pink. Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
